Giant Chilli Contest at Malvern Autumn Show 2017 - Get Sowing

Giant Veg teamed up with the Chilli Growing Community to host a National Challenge and to enter the record books at the Malvern Autumn Show on the weekend of the 23rd and 24th September 2017. 

The World Record for the heaviest Chilli pepper at the time weighed 0.29 kg (0.63 lb), grown by Edward Curry (USA) at Curry Farms in Pearce, Arizona, United States, and measured on 6 November 2009. The green chili pepper measured 26.03 cm (10.25 in) long and 9.52 cm (3.75 in) wide.

There were a host of prizes at the event for the winners of the two classes

Here is the list of available seeds the Chilli Community are trying to put together for all in need of seeds, these will all come from the very generous chilli community. Anybody who needs seeds will need to request them through the Facebook group (Link above via Chilli Contest).
